Dessie Museum Renovation

This project will support the complete renovation of the Dessie Museum in Ethiopia’s Amhara Region, which was destroyed during conflict in 2021.

Through a combination of physical interventions to restore and upgrade museum facilities, community focussed heritage trainings and a collections growth initiative to replace damaged and lost objects, the museum will reopen and continue as an important regional centre for culture and education.
