Digital Heritage Trails Project (DHTP)

Documentation and community engagement around endangered maritime archaeological sites in Sindh’s Indus Delta.

Rising sea levels and erosion are endangering five maritime archaeological sites in the Indus Delta. MartimEA Research will document these sites and create a digital heritage trail. The project also involves community engagement initiatives that record local knowledge and folklore. Educational outreach will be conducted through schools and museums to build awareness and appreciation of the Delta’s rich maritime history, fostering community stewardship of these fragile sites.
