“Mobilize, Involve, and Change for Youth to Strive (MICYAS)” is a 3-year DRSOSO Foundation-funded project that TAA is currently working on. This project's main impact is to maintain that culture and the arts are accessible tools for children and youth regardless of their regional, religious, nationality, and/or socioeconomic differences, through contributing to shaping cultural policies and halting centralized culture and the arts in Lebanon. The following four points illustrate the outcomes that TAA planned on achieving throughout the project: 1- The expansion of TAA’s outreach contributes to the decentralizing process of culture and the arts. 2- Arts and culture become, for children and youth, a means to understand the past and express their future. 3- TAA revenues are increasingly making use of a diversified income generation plan to enhance TAA’s financial sustainability. 4- TAA's organizational structure becomes more empowered as a result of improving its internal governance and skills needed to promote and revive the culture and the arts.
