Employment through Heritage (EHP)

The project consists of two main components: 1) Creation of a legal framework for the Cultural Resources Management (CRM) sector in order to formalize the Jordanian job market. 2) Training and certification of Jordanian technicians in different fields of CRM to enter the job market.

The project consists of two main components: 1) Creation of a legal framework for the CRM sector in order to formalize the job market. 2) Certified training of Jordanian technicians in different fields of CRM. The project is supported by the Swiss Drosos Foundation. Sela is supporting Department Of Antiquities (DOA) by facilitating the creation of national guidelines for conservation and development of archaeological and heritage sites. Over the four years of the project, Sela offers training opportunities in several communities all over the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Sela is also training junior DOA employees within this projects to guarantee the enforcement of the new regulations over the long term.
