The Museum holds several thousand archaeological, historical, and ethnographical objects although many were damaged or looted. DLME is working with the museum to secure the remaining collection from further damage, which will then be digitized and indexed by trained Yemeni personnel.
The National Museum of Aden is the holder of a collection of several thousands of archaeological, historical, and ethnographical objects.
