Conservation of Historic Monuments in Krujë Damaged by the November 2019 Albania Earthquake

This project supports the post-earthquake conservation of Krujë Fortress and Tekke of Dolma.

The 6.4 magnitude November 2019 Albania Earthquake killed 51 people, injured approximately 3,000, and caused an estimated $1.1 billion in damage. The earthquake damaged or destroyed more than 14,000 buildings, including historic fortifications and other national monuments in the earthquake zone. [Photo credit: Project organizer]
