Conservation of the 14th-Century Patriarchate Monastery in Peć (Peja)

This project, which involves environmental monitoring of the interior, directly supports the Embassy's efforts to promote regional stability by reducing inter-ethnic tensions and economic growth by increasing domestic and regional tourism.

Built in the 14th century, the Patriarchate is one of the oldest monasteries in the region and an important historical site for Kosovo’s Serb population. [Photo credit: Project organizer]
