Foundation for Culture and Civil Society
The national Afghan Foundation for Culture and Civil Society was established in March 2003 as an independent social organization by a group of Afghan intellectuals concerned with the fate of Afghan culture and the strengthening of Afghan civil society. Its board members include important personalities from Kabul University, the Ministry of Information and Culture, the Academy of Sciences, the Human Rights Commission, and the most proactive cultural and social organizations currently operating in Afghanistan.
