Relaunch of the Culture in Crisis Programme

Join us for the public relaunch of Culture in Crisis and hear about the programme’s next chapter.

Following a decade of success and growth, the management of the Culture in Crisis programme has this year transferred from the V&A to the British Council’s Cultural Protection Fund, in partnership with the UK’s Department of Culture, Media and Sport.

The Culture in Crisis programme brings together those with a shared interest in heritage preservation, developing an important forum for sharing information, supporting collective action and raising public awareness. From its founding, the programme’s mission has been to help to protect the world's cultural heritage and support communities that suffer cultural loss, whether through Conflict, Criminal Acts or the impacts of the Climate Crisis.

In this new phase, whilst remaining true to its founding mission and principles, the Culture in Crisis Programme will seek to expand its work and increase its engagement, globally.

We warmly invite you to attend a public relaunch, either online or in-person, featuring presentations on the work of the past decade, the programme’s future scope and ambitions – and how you can get involved!

We can't wait to see you there.
